Two professors and their graduate-student lab assistant are unlikely fugitives from the law, hiding out on skid-row with their invention, the world's first super-computer, dubbed Bossy. The government and the public want Bossy destroyed, but the scientists want Bossy to save human-kind from itself. And the two professors don't know that Joe Carter, their assistant, is a telepath, and the real creator of Bossy.
