In KDE Plasma, you can assign a temporary shortcut to a window so that you can bring it to the foreground when needed. For this, right-click on the title bar of the required window and select More Actions โ†’ Set Window Shortcutโ€ฆ

Now, enter a shortcut by activating the desired keyboard shortcut combination and press OK.

So, thereโ€™s this other OS, itโ€™s not Linux, nor a *BSD. Itโ€™s Haiku. A continuation of BeOS, which was meant as a competitor to Windows, it has quite some interesting features. It boots fast, REALLY fast, and I only tried its live mode in a VM! Yes, itโ€™s rough around the edges (thatโ€™s why it hasnโ€™t got a 1.0 yet), but already it looks promising. Its GUI is really responsive and looks and behaves quite different than the Windows or MacOS-esque GUIs, so takes some getting used to. So, what do youโ€ฆ
